Drew Garvie is a service sector worker, part-time student, campus and community activist and the Young Communist League organizer for Ontario.
Drew supports the student movement in it’s call for universal, quality public education at all levels. He calls for eliminating tuition fees, massively increasing public education funding, and stopping military recruitment and privatization on campus. Drew actively protests Canada’s war in Afghanistan and is a supporter of the Six Nations reclamation in Caledonia.
Drew is campaigning hard for an alternative future for youth — of peace, jobs, and increasing the minimum wage to $19/hr. People and the environment before profits!
Drew is the Communist Party of Canada (Ontario) candidate for Guelph.
